BEHIND THE LENS

EMMA WILLIAMS

I’ve always had a passion for photography. From a very young age, I never went anywhere without my camera. I loved documenting family vacations, taking grad photos for friends, and capturing all of the other in-between moments that made life special—worth remembering.

Now, I work to help the sweetest couples capture their most important moments in life as a fine art wedding and elopement photographer (or as I like to call it, a professional third-wheel). It’s the best job in the world. From the down to earth couples I get to know to the beautiful memories I help document, every moment feels like a dream come true. I am honored to be trusted with telling their love stories.

I would describe my style as warm, romantic, timeless, authentic, and a little wild. While providing direction is an important part of my job, I also love to take a step back from those more structured moments and capture the candid, raw moments that bring life and emotion to your day.

Outside of being a photographer, I’m also a: cat momma, self-proclaimed delight, expert-level homebody, snack connoisseur, oxford comma advocate, and literary junkie.

I’m obsessed with rain and will open every window in the house to enjoy the petrichor. I can spend hours in World Market and Target looking at mugs and pillows. If given the choice, I will always choose going to bed early over staying up late. I end every day with a cup of sleepy time tea. And, when the mood strikes, I will turn random sentences into song (and no, I can’t sing).

I married my best friend and cat daddy in September 2022!

LET’S MAKE IT OFFICIAL

I want to help capture your love.

KIND WORDS

“I cannot stress how much I loved having Emma as our photographer. My now husband and I are two absolutely awkward dorks and Emma managed to calm our nerves, make us laugh, and take gorgeous photos of us at the same time. Emma provided us with lots of details and helpful tips before both our engagement shoot and the wedding. On the day of the wedding, she killed it with handling our family, staying true to the timeline, and helping us find special moments to capture that we can now remember forever.”
